Joy in the Small Things

The leaves have finally started to change color (a little) and fall from the trees down here in the south. The girls were so excited to see leaves in the yard. Emily patiently collected a (very small) pile and I took the opportunity to get a few photos before they grew impatient with me. They wanted to jump in the leaves!
It's the small things in life that bring great joy!

Speaking of small things...my best friend is going to get her baby daughter (and Emily's best friend is going to finally get her baby sister) today (it will be the wee hours of tomorrow morning for us here in the US, but it will be Monday afternoon in China). We are so excited and praise God for little Meisey who is going to bring great joy!
