These feet were made for walkin'...

And, that’s just what I’m gonna do! I’m putting my newly bunion free feet to the test and walking in two events within the next couple of months.

Next weekend, I’m walking with my friend Christie in the Multiple Sclerosis Walk in our area. Her mom, Nila has lived with MS for more than 17 years. Read her story here. Please consider making a donation to Christie and her team, Nila’s Sassy Southerners. It is remarkable to me that every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with MS. That’s why we’re walking…because we can!

On June 2nd, I’m walking with my friend Erin in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure. Her mom, Barbara was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2006. It was a time in my friendship with Erin that I will never forget. Barbara’s remarkable strength is inspirational and I am so happy that she will be walking with us in June! Please consider making a donation to our team, Barbara’s Bosom Buddies.

If you can spare a few dollars...it will make a difference as we fight to understand and find a cure for these two diseases – diseases that change families forever and diseases that take lives. Thanks!
