Thanks for your prayers! Emily's surgery went well and she is doing very well recovering. Once again, I felt an incredible peace as I let nurses wheel away my baby to surgery. I knew that she was in His hands and that all was going to be well. Everyone at the Pediatric Surgery Center was fantastic and took great care of all of us. We arrived at 7 AM and were on our way home by 10 AM. Now we're praying that this surgery helps Emily stay healthy and have fewer illnesses.
She had a rough time coming out of anesthesia, but calmed down once she downed a huge cup of apple juice and two ice pops...that was her breakfast!
